St Peter Port

I am an entrepreneur, sustainability champion and mum of three. I speak three languages fluently. I’ve lived and worked in London, Singapore, Bangkok, Madrid, Moscow, Guernsey and Ulaan Bataar. My professional background is in the technology sector and startups with a global career at Google, L'Oréal and Priceline. I have an MBA from INSEAD and a BSc from the London School of Economics.

Since making Guernsey home eight years ago with my husband Geoff Miller, we found a sense of community and belonging like no other. We’re delighted to call Guernsey home, bring-up our Guernsey-born children here and actively contribute to the local business, community and sports life.

I’ve been involved in many diverse aspects of our beautiful island as a board member at Guernsey Ports and Startup Guernsey, a Chamber Council member, co-founder of the Chamber Sustainable Business Initiative and co-founder of Afaafa, a Guernsey-based investment and advisory business.

Many of you may also recognise my name from my work with Island Mums - a community organisation I led between 2015 and 2020 and grew to serve 1000+ households, 100+ local businesses and many charities.

I love playing sport and be active outdoors and I enjoy walking, snorkelling and sea-swimming throughout the year. I have represented Guernsey against Jersey and at the Gotland Island Games in 2017, playing volleyball.

I was inspired to stand for election when I launched the Transition Islands project and podcast series, exploring ideas for sustainable development. I felt I could have more influence being at the decision-making table, especially at such a challenging time when we need the best government to lead us forward.

If elected, I believe my business acumen, passion for sustainability, international experience and local understanding will help to create the type of economic, social and environmental future our children can enjoy. I will strive to get things done.

The next States needs to come together as a collaborative body and take action regardless of the political spectrum of candidates. That’s why I have joined the Guernsey Partnership of Independents.

My focus is on our community and economy and I will contribute to making the future States assembly one of action not words.
